Academics Overview

Our academic program is designed to provide holistic development by combining strong academics with co-curricular activities, leadership opportunities, and value-based learning. The school ensures that every child receives well-rounded exposure throughout their schooling journey.

General Academic Practices

Monthly Assessments
Monthly assessments are conducted across all grades to evaluate the students’ understanding of concepts and track academic progress. These assessments help teachers identify learning gaps and plan effective remedial measures.

Class Prefect & Assistant Prefect Selection
Every month, Class Prefects and Assistant Prefects are chosen to encourage leadership, responsibility, discipline, and teamwork among students. This helps them develop confidence and organizational skills.

Parent–Teacher Meetings (PTM)
Regular PTMs are arranged to discuss the academic performance, behaviour, strengths, and areas of improvement of each student. It strengthens the bond between parents and teachers, ensuring better support for the child.

Field Trips

An annual educational field trip is organized for every grade. These trips offer experiential learning opportunities, helping students understand real-life applications of classroom lessons.

Health Awareness Programs

The school conducts various health awareness sessions, workshops, and demonstrations to promote physical fitness, hygiene, first-aid knowledge, and emotional well-being.

Thematic Assemblies

Assemblies are conducted based on specific themes and important national and international days. Students participate in skits, speeches, songs, and presentations, developing confidence and awareness.

Intramural Competitions

Monthly intramurals are conducted in sports and co-curricular activities. Students are encouraged to participate enthusiastically. Winners are announced, appreciated, and awarded, promoting a healthy spirit of competition.

Festival Celebrations

Important festivals are celebrated to help students understand their cultural significance. The values and importance behind each celebration are shared through performances, talks, and creative activities.

Student Publications

Students are encouraged to write and illustrate for:

  • Times of India – Student Edition

  • The Hindu – Student Special Edition

  • The School Magazine

This enhances creativity, vocabulary, and writing skills.

Pre-KG Programme

The Pre-KG curriculum follows Braindemics, a scientifically designed program to stimulate early brain development.

Key Learning Components:

  • Hands-on activities to develop sensory and motor skills

  • Introduction to colour concepts

  • Engaging activity worksheets to reinforce basic learning

This stage lays a strong foundation for literacy, numeracy, and social skills.

KG education is focused on joyful learning and foundational skill development.
